First time with wood wick?

For the best experience and longevity, follow these care tips before, during, and after each use:

  • Trim the Wick: Wood wick needs more love comparing to its cotton alternatives, but it's cleaner, and more environmental friendly. Before every use, use your fingers to snap the black top off as much as you can, this will ensure an easier ignition and an even burn.
  • First Burn: We try to trim our wicks to the perfect height, however, sometime it can still be too long to catch up on fire right away, don't get discouraged if it doesn't ignite right away, try to burn the extra length and snap them off a little.
  • Burn Safely: Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects and pets. Never leave a burning candle alone.
  • Extinguish with Care: You can simply place the lid on top for a few seconds to extinguish the flame, this can minimize smoke and preserve the fragrance.
